Workshops for Musical Theater Performers

Workshop #1: Musical Theater Warm Up

I know how hard it is to balance time as a performer. If you’re in a show, you need a lot of outside time to memorize lines, music and choreography not to mention wearing other hats within the theater. I’ve created a workshop to give people the tools to warm up efficiently and effectively for shows, rehearsals, auditions and voice lessons when they only have a short amount of time. I’m here to help you find what movements and movement order will best move the needle for your body. The goal is to help performers feel strong, stable and present to do their best work and prevent injuries.

Workshop #2: Pilates Conditioning Workout for Performers

I’ve created a workshop that targets the strength and mobility we need as performers. I’ve used my experience in performing, biomechanics, years of voice lessons and Estill Vocal Technique workshops to target muscles that are important for singing and dancing. This at home mat class could be a great complement to a resistance training workout routine to make sure your alignment is allowing the correct muscles to fire so that you’re getting the most out of your workouts.
